Custom Event Booking Website with Payment Gateway – Mobile Experience and Notifications
A custom event booking website with payment gateway needs clear ticket options, payment status handling, confirmations and a process for cancellations or failed transactions. Test the full booking journey before launch.
Mobile Experience and Notifications
Test the key user journey on mobile and decide which confirmations or reminders are genuinely useful and consent-appropriate. The best configuration depends on the organisation's users, transaction volume, existing tools, data quality and reporting needs. Document the intended outcome and confirm the process with the people who will use the system.
Areas to review
- Event catalogue
- Ticket selection
- Payment integration
- Booking confirmation
- Refund and cancellation workflow
Practical implementation steps
Agree on the initial scope, prepare sample data, test normal and exception scenarios, define user permissions and train the responsible team. For reward programs, verify eligibility, duplicate claims, expiry and redemption rules. For event systems, test registration, payment status, attendee updates and check-in where relevant. Plan backups, support ownership and a process for handling changes after launch.
